i noe i very long nvr blog liao..mizael..haha.and to some1 who reads my blog...i shall blog now..if not nth to read..not i dun wanna blog..i really got nth much to say...things tat i wanna say, im tryin to picture them to one piece....but..today...it helps me really picture into one...it will be at e last paragraph..shall start off with the gd things first...yeah... optismistic....PE...haha..my physical fitness test i get a GOLD...yeah...genuinely is a gold...surprised isnt it?haha..so am i...throughout my life...think this is e first time im gettin it...though some ppl may think no big deal...i cant get gold is becoz of standin broad jump....now i can make it..even the most terrifying chin up..haha...i pulled 8 times..one more i hit B grade..doesnt mean tat i skip PE weekly, my fitness will go down.and i complete 6stations today..so amazing yeah..and den after tat played tennis and squash with my classmates..is tiring..but is fun..so long i have stretched myself to such extent..brings me back to my sec sch time...so fun..haha...yeah man..
this shows tat i can go in ns later...haha..no need go in PTB..haha...which oso means tat dec i can help out ULP VIP fully...more lookin forward to vip..coz the ulp cadets badge tat im mentoring will be graduated n joinin vip...hope to see them...be part of the bigger family....and can teach n guide them even more in e programe...leads them to the correct path..
and i got 25/30 for one chem test..on NMR, nucleus magnetic resonance spectrometry..haha.is a gd topic..coz do not require preparation work...the 5 marks gone is coz of organic reactions qns..tat im not familiar with..haha...phy test..ar!! is very simple lo...shit man..didnt take it..i muz study hard...and score AA for phy n chem at least...
While i was waiting for bus home...saw civic type R sped pass...it has a black bonet...and white body with side skirt..superb man...my wanted car...who i wish i can own it....CIVIC type R.....
YJC is really a lousy college with respect to management....yes...i agree..the flexible combi results in the kind of time table...but if u all are not able and ready to have such a policy, den dun have it in the first place... yes, i noe this policy exists, i shudnt have come...but if u all cant cater to it, den abolish it...is not our fault after all..
sports ccas have no coach..wad e hell...yes, always talk abt passion...den wads e point having a teacher??since all of us have passion to score n study for As...stupid n illogical..though u have passion, we still need a coach to teach pls.... wad u ask is juz suggestion n suggestion...wads so impt abt suggestion, wads e significant, when all this are crap...evey wk needa giv suggestion...til e extent of using force...my goodness...waste 1 hr weekly on such stupid student dialogue session with e councilors...wads e point....piss of..
attended a talk by a professor in nus, professor chua if im not wrong...on stats..title, wad numbers say....it is a really very very meaningful talk...it really make alot of sense..it helps me to picture out wad i wanna say..
his talk is basically on how to interpret statistic and datas...he used statistic published in newspaper to show how the data are misinterpreted..and sadly,all are chinese newspaper...except one...is in english...is the chinese paper so low quality?this is not the point anyway...so, those figures in the published. are all inaccurate.it can be form of readin and juz laugh through abt it...this figures are really very misleadin...ppl who noe nth abt statistic, or even if they noe, they might not think otherwise...he used several egs..i juz use 2 of them to illustrate...
5 times more widows age 50 and above than widowers... this is the headline...but in fact, it is nth amazing..becoz, in actual fact, it is absolutely true...coz man dies earlier than woman generally, and secondly, the husband is relatively older than e wife in singapore...of coz more widow den widower...
the eldest child in e family has a longer live to abt 100 yrs in the near future...this again, is the headline..yes, me being e eldest child in my family, i may be happy at e instant i read it..but it is ABSOLUTELY not TRUE..
lets not look in terms of maths..juz real life experiences...we noe that e eldest child wil always have e stress.if family is poor, financially stress.has to work be4 completing education to support family.how the hell e eldest child can live longer.....
now, look in terms of maths...how many eldest child can we have?? can the number of 2nd child be greater than 1st child??ans is no, coz if a family has one kid, he/she will be e eldest child. if this family is to have a 2nd child, den will be one 2nd child. so be4 we can have a second child, we need to have a first child.hence, probability of havin 1st child, is so much more. by the survey, 80 respondents above age of 80 are first child, and abt 30 (if im not wrong) respondents above age of 80 are 2nd..
secondly, the comparison is not valid. 80 out of the total reapondents of like 200..the number is big.but it does not compare with ppl being 1st child n do not live beyong 80..so is totally invalid....
all the above, are either basically wrong interpretation of dates or selective collation of datas...it is bias..not valid and logical enuff...so we needa think, n not juz believe wad are being published in newspaper, it may be wrong,in fact, most of the time wrong.
Professor's talk really picture eveything in my head for e past few dunno how many days or even wks...this is a simple and yet hard to accept idea...if ppl dun noe anything, they will be really misleaded and think otherwise..this does not juz applies to this statistic topic alone...it actually means alot...it is applicable to reality, day to day business...so ppl, pls...pls..not juz open ur big ears n eyes to listen n see, but ur damn powerful big brain to think n analyse...things are not so simple...do not do selective collation of data...make sure it is reliable n valid pls....it is just lying to other people, making false accusations as shown in the above 2 examples
